It isn’t taking as long as I thought to get a lot done on the new project: THIS ONE.
It is now called the Confetti Quilt, and there are 100 of 144 blocks assembled. And most of the pieces are cut (out of that abundant scrap box) for the rest of the blocks.
Possibly the blocks will be complete by early February. Such a nice way to start the year.

This is one of my quilt block patterns and I named it, Pin Wheel Around. I took 2- five inch Charm packs and these quilt blocks. I don't over think quit fabric colors much...a light, a dark color. I like the idea of the sewing recently, cut, grab, sew! Just the way I've been lately. the gray and orange.

read moreI am not sure how/why the name came to me. I guess it takes three to make a band (two is just a pair/duo), just like you need three sides to make a triangle. The colors are definitely boyish. It fits and so it sticks.
